Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Here's what we'll be learning:
In language arts we will focus on fairy tales, looking closely at characters, setting, and the characteristics of the genre. In science we will talk about seasonal changes. In math we will be measuring and comparing lengths, weights, area and capacity. We will continue to work on our writing, separating words with spaces, using punctuation, and writing all the sounds we hear in words.
Important Dates:
January 18 - Forest Creek Talent Show
January 21 - NO SCHOOL
January 30 - Individual & group pictures
Every Wednesday is Library Day!!
