Our class is in need of volunteers for Homeroom Parent, Thursday Folders, and Special Projects. The explanations are listed below. If you are interested in volunteering, please send me an email and let me know! Thank you!
Homeroom Parent / Room Mom:
The homeroom parent will be responsible for planning and setting up the Winter, Valentine's and End of Year party. They will also be responsible for helping coordinate volunteers throughout the year for various events. To fairly decide who will be room mom, I will put all the names in a bowl and pick out a name next week.
Thursday Folders:
The parent responsible for Thursday folders will come every Thursday (between 12:45 - 1:15) and stuff the student's Daily folders with the announcements from the office, PTA, etc. If more than one parent would like to help, we can switch off every couple of months.
Special projects:
Volunteering for Special projects would be something that you could do at home to help. For example, if I need something made or cut out, etc. I can send it home with your child. This could also be coming up to the school and doing things in the workroom that I might need done (Di-cutting, laminating, etc.) I will not need this but a few times during the year.
